Robert P. Ward, M.Sc.Avn

Rob Ward holds an Airline Transport Pilot certificate for both airplanes and helicopters with more than 3,500 hours of flight experience including 2,200 hours flying for the United States Coast Guard in the HH65A/B Dolphin helicopter and the US Air Force in the Lockheed C5A ultra-heavy transport. He has additional experience in FAA Part 135 executive transport operations.

Rob has a Bachelor of Science in Aircraft Systems Management from the Florida Institute of Technology and a Masters in Aeronautical Science from Embry Riddle Aeronautical University with a concentration in Aviation Safety. In addition to the ATP rating, Rob is also a Certified Flight Instructor (CFI) and has a type rating for the Lear 35A executive turbojet.

Currently, Rob Ward is a Major in the US Air Force Air Mobility Command as a pilot on the C5A Galaxy and a graduate of the USAF Advanced Instrument School. Rob is concerned with aviation safety, aircraft accident reconstruction, flight operations and crew resource management.
