Captain Jimmie H. Miles

Fire Captain Jimmie Miles has nearly 30 years of fire suppression, aviation crash fire rescue, hazardous materials, arson investigation, and law enforcement experience. Jimmie Miles is a captain in a major metropolitan arson bureau. Before his assignment as an arson investigator, Captain Miles was assigned as a station captain of an aircraft crash fire rescue unit at KIAH, as well as a district chief engineer and district training officer. He is a certified fire instructor by the Texas Commission on Fire Protection, a licensed law enforcement officer by the Texas Commission on Law Enforcement Standards and Education (TCLEOSE), has attended the National Fire Training Academy, and is a Certified Fire and Explosion Investigator (CFEI).

Captain Jimmie Miles is concerned with aviation safety audits for airport fire suppression and crash rescue response, aircraft storage and maintenance facilities, marine safety audits for shipboard and dockside fire suppression, hazardous material storage, handling and shipping, petroleum storage safety, and the investigation of fires and explosions.
