C. Pat Duggins, B.Sc.Avn.Pat Duggins holds an FAA Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) License and has over 25 years of commercial aircraft maintenance experience. A retired maintenance manager and supervisor from American Airlines, Pat Duggins was extensively involved in turbine engine maintenance, teardown, inspection and rebuilding of both propulsion engines and auxiliary power units (APU). Mr. Duggins also served for many years as an aircraft overhaul manager for the Boeing 727, Boeing 737, and McDonnell-Douglas MD80 jetliner fleet. Mr. Duggins has been involved with training for A&P mechanics, specialized skills training and management training programs, including development and implementation of federal regulatory required training programs and individual enhancement programs. He is an associate instructor in aviation safety at the FAA/DOT Transportation Safety Institute located at the Mike Monroney Aeronautical Center in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, and has a Bachelor of Science in Professional Aeronautics from Embry Riddle Aeronautical University. He also holds an Oklahoma State Property and Casualty Resident Agent's License. Principally, Pat Duggins is involved in operator and vendor aviation safety audits, investigation of maintenance records for regulatory compliance and airworthiness for large and small aircraft and engines, human factors in aviation maintenance mishaps, suspected unapproved parts investigations, contractual accountability, and documentation on airframe, powerplant, and component repairs and overhauls. |
