Arthur B. Childers

With more than 30 years of aviation experience, Art Childers is an expert in the operation, areas of safety, piloting, accident investigation and reconstruction of both rotary-wing and fixed-wing aircraft. Art holds an Airline Transport Pilot (ATP) certificate in rotorcraft and a commercial pilot certificate for single and multiengine land airplanes. He is type rated for the Bell 206 series turbine helicopters. Art Childers has over 10,000 hours of flight experience including nearly 7,000 hours in helicopters which he gained as a pilot and instructor for the U.S. Army, Bell Helicopter and as an instructor pilot for Flight Safety International in the rotorcraft division. Art also is a certificated flight instructor (CFI) for rotorcraft.

Art Childers has been factory trained in many rotor and fixed-wing aircraft. For the past 20 years, Art Childers has been principally involved in aviation mishap investigation and reconstruction and has qualified as a expert witness in may federal and state courts. Art is concerned with aircraft accident investigation in rotorcraft and general aviation airplanes. `
