Initial Technical Evaluation

FAA provides comprehensive technical evaluation of a case prior to the initiation of litigation. This service can save the law firm thousands of dollars in expert witness, forensic laboratory and discovery fees.

Often, a firm does not have the in-house expertise to evaluate the potential liability created by a the failure of complex technical system, product, or component. It is only during discovery and after the retention of expensive testifying expert witnesses that defects in the causation and liability theories become apparent. Our services provide you with a comprehensive technical evaluation which includes probable causation, theories of liability, potential defendants, and possible defenses. As consulting experts, our work-product reports and activities are not generally discoverable under the Texas Rules of Evidence or the Federal Rules of Evidence.
