AVIATION RISK MANAGEMENT AND INSURANCE

This comprehensive two-day course is designed to provide operators with an understanding of the basic principles of insurance and risk with their special application to the aviation industry. This course provides a foundation of general insurance and legal liability principles, insurance practices, casualty adjusting, an introduction into the specialized field of aviation insurance and general lines of insurance which must be considered in any aviation operation.

The course consists of a four part syllabus which includes an overview of the aviation insurance industry, general principles of insurance and risk management, aircraft hull and operational liability coverages, airport premises liability, aviation underwriting, aviation business and transportation coverages, and aviation insurance adjusting. The course is taught by an experienced aircraft accident investigator and aviation casualty adjuster.
